This is a write-up for the screen press used at the first Barcamp San Diego. The pictures are a little crude as they were taken with my phone. The page is also crude as i didn't have time to make anything nice =P

Clamping the arm adjuster in place for welding

Clamping the platen in place for measuring

Next!

All four arm holders welded and assembly is clamped down for rust removal.

finished arm assembly getting all prettied up

First completed arm assembly with retaining springs rated at 20 pounds per spring

Unfortunately the springs weren't strong enough to hold the arm up with the screen attached.
New springs with turn buckles rated at 36 pounds per spring.

The whole thing put together with two arms.

Some last minute welding before taking the press to Barcamp SD1!

Some nifty shots of the spring assembly, courtesy of Lisa Brewster

Loosening the screen fasteners to test the alignment.

I was too confused on only a couple hours of sleep, i kept forgetting which tools I was looking for

Success!

Holy Hell! It actually works! Test print of two color setup for the Organizer shirts

Nice overhead shot of the monster courtesy of Nrek

This one is also Nrek's fault.

I'm burning the logo's into the screen with my eyes! **BZZZT**
